Epic TCG World Championship announced

Framingham, MA –October 1st, 2009- Robert Dougherty, Hall of Fame Magic player and owner of EpicTCG.com, announced today that the Epic Trading Card Game's World Championship will take place December 11th – 13th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA.

The Epic World Championship will feature a $10,000 prize purse, unique extended art cards for all competitors and a multitude of side events including a $1,000 sealed event on Sunday.

“Players qualify for Worlds by making top 8 in a 5K Championship, winning a Grand Tournament, or by winning one of the last chance qualifiers we'll be running on Friday December 11th.” Dougherty explained.



“We have a new program that allows game stores to run a Grand Tournament. They are a great way for a store to make a little extra money, and qualify one of their players for worlds in the process. Store that want to sign up should e-mail epictcgevents@gmail.com.”
